The movie is another upcoming American drama and action
movie inspired from the life of Newton Knight and the armed rebellion towards
the union during the American Civil War at Jones County, Mississippi. The movie
was both directed and by Gary Ross.
During the development of the film, STX Entertainment was
arranged to finance the film of up to $20 million from the $65 million budget.
While IM Global will also invest in the movie and STX will release it. The film
stars are Matthew McConaughey, Mahershala Ali, Brendan Gleeson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw
will perform the character of Rachel, and Keri Russell. While the principal
filming and photography started on February 23 and planned to finish May 28. The
production happens in and around the New Orleans with the primary release of
their initial photo. The initial trailer was viewed on January 9, 2016 and the
movie scheduled of released is on June 24, 2016.
The movie is about the story of survival from the Civil Warof the 1862 Battle of Corinth at the Newton Knight. There was a poor, needy farmer
from Mississippi that headed a crowd of small farmers and native slaves in an equipped
rebellion towards the Confederacy or League in Jones County. Knight later ties
the knot to a former in prison woman named Rachel. He builds a combined-race
community, exclusively in the South of post-war. Mahershala Ali and Keri
Russell here unite with the Civil War drama on 12th of February, Ali
here was place to play with Moses Washington, the escaped slave who united with
the Knight's rebellion and Russell was place to play with the Knight's wife.
